100km Route

The 100k route starts at 10am in Manorhamilton, heading out the Sligo Road and taking the Kilcoosey route to Dromahair. Continuing to Drumkeerin, turn left for Dowra, where we turn right over the village bridge and head for the foodstop in Drumshanbo. Continue up the other side of Lough Allen for Drumkeerin where there is a waterstop. 10km after leaving Drumkeerin turn left for Dromahair. In the village pass the church and turn right for Newtownmanor. A 5km climb takes us past Newtownmanor church and over Benbo before the descent to the finish. Freewheel home for the last 7km and enjoy your hot meal and relax at the finish.

The Final Climb

Although the 100k route is mostly rolling terrain there is one major climb towards the end. As you can see in the profile the road kicks up after Dromahair on Newtownmanor climb. After a dip it rises again towards Newtownmanor church where there are several short steep ramps. Again the road flattens out before cresting Moreagh and reaching the final descent home.
